About Mary-jo

Hi there! My name is Mary-Jo, and I believe children are a gift from God. My husband and I just moved to Rome from WA state, so I am looking for a new family to work with. I have nannied over the last 8 years (children from newborn-9 years of age). I have been CPR trained and certified many times throughout my life. I no longer have a current certification, but I can get one if you would like me to; however, I am certified and trained in Newborn Resuscitation as a birth worker. I do have my own car and can transport kiddos wherever needed. I don't smoke and am totally fine with your pets if you have any! I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and a masters degree in Biblical studies as well. I have three daughters, ages 5, 3 and 1 years old, and I do bring them with me. They make very sweet friends. Aside from childcare, I am passionate about supporting birthing families (prior doula and student midwife here), homesteading, hiking, baking/cooking, and singing.
