About Avery

Hi everyone! I am Avery . I am a junior at Model High School and take a Teaching class at the College and Career Academy. I have completed a Semester in Early Childhood Education and now taking Contemporary Issues Education. I am very active. I have played softball since I was 7 years old and many other sports along the way. I have always loved children and making memories with them while also making sure they are 100% safe! I am available for after school care from 3:45 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. (Mon, Tues, Thurs. Friday) and most of the weekends! On Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, I work in the nursery at a local church! I'm a patient and friendly individual who believes in open communication with parents. I follow their preferred communication method to ensure they're well-informed about their child's day and any issues that arise. I am also very comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a safe and structured environment for the children in my care.
