About Mary

I'm currently looking for a full-time position starting June 2026! Resume available upon request. I'd describe myself as enthusiastic, patient, and kind. I like working with kids because I love learning and incorporating daily learning activities with children in a joyful way. I started working with kids in high school. I worked in a Montessori classroom and taught swimming. I spent a gap year after high school as a nanny for a family of 5 and continued nannying for the family after graduating college for a total of 10 years. I worked at Denver Children's Home as a school and residential counselor. In my spare time, I like to be outdoors camping, hiking, and traveling. I also enjoy cooking, baking, and reading. I enjoy working with children on developing and focusing on their individual strengths. My skills include working with children in verbalizing needs and wants, expressing and processing emotions in a healthy and supportive environment, and finding solutions to problems.
