About Mary Hannah

Hi! I'm Mary Hannah, a professional artist with a Bachelors in Fine Art and two years of professional experience working in pediatrics. I have several years of teaching experience with children and college students. I was nominated by my college art department head to serve as an art tutor, taught 10+ children ages 5-8 through a homeschool co-op, and provided private lessons to children ages 8-12 for several years. I focus on building confidence and artistic skills while encouraging observation, self-expression, and curiosity about the world through art. Private art lessons as a child had a huge impact on my own confidence and creative voice, and I'd love to offer that experience to other kids. I specialize in portrait and animal painting. I'm available for weekly lessons, with drop-in lessons also welcome. My goal is to establish a regular schedule with a child so we can build their skills and confidence over time.
