About Mary

I'm looking for a job where I can do something I'd find enjoyable that also aligns with my character strengths of responsibility and adaptiveness. When a task needs to be done, I make sure to do it well. Of course, I love animals, and have some of my own! I started intermittently working with animals when I was in high school. I'd dog and cat sit for family friends as needed and would occasionally pick up a job listing for pet sitting. I've been surrounded by all sorts of animals (rabbits, cats, dogs, snakes, other rodents of usual and unusual size...) with a large variation in temperament throughout my life. My pet care skills are understanding body language and being attentive to signs of stress. I'm consistent with required hygiene of the animal and property space, as well as feeding and other nutritional expectations as communicated by the owner. Considering stimulation, I believe it's important to provide the proper enrichment that suits the animal's individual needs.
