About Talia

I'd describe my personality as curious, attentive, and open. I like working with animals because I enjoy learning how they communicate, what they need, and how to best support them. I'm looking for a job that allows me to spend time with animals and offers support to pet owners. I started working with animals when I was a child on a hobby farm raising chickens and ducks. Since then, I have volunteered in raptor rehabilitation, dog-, gecko-, and cat-sat, and spent five years volunteering with surrendered parrots. In my spare time, I like to work on my rock, mushroom, and plant identification skills. I love visiting the Mississippi, doing fiber arts, and making portraits and comics. One thing you should know about me is I am responsive to needs and flexible. I want to provide a safe and comfortable experience for all people involved. My skills include behavioral attunement, redirection, and enrichment through play.
