About Mary

I have been a certified nursing assistant since 2002. I have worked in home care, longterm care nursing facilities, rehab units, and acute care at Mercy Hospital Mt Airy campus (now closed). I have also provided support to the LD/EH classrooms . My hobbies include reading, sewing, & camping, I believe it is a privilege to serve those in our community at the same level I myself would want to be served. I'd describe my personality as caring, nurturing, trustworthy I like caring for seniors because I need the insight and wisdom life has given them. I'm looking for a job that encourages others in their journey. I started caring for seniors when my children were getting older and my family responsibilities were lightening. In my spare time, I like to read, sew, camp, spend time with family. One thing you should know about me is I am committed to be empathetic. My skills include I have 25yrs experience in multiple care settings. I have a few years of life under my belt as well.
