I have worked in education for 20 years in various schools both in Pennsylvania and Maine. In my last childcare position, I cared for two newborn infants for two very busy doctors in Portland, Maine. I am CPR/First Aid certified. I have all of my clearances. My philosophy in childcare is to reflect the child rearing philosophy of the parents. The childcare provider's role is to support the parents and have consistency in the care of the child/children. Supporting the parents in promoting emotional, social and intellectual development in a SAFE environment for their child. If you are a busy parent and have a busy household my first priority is the safe and fun care of your child. I am also willing to keep the household running smoothly as well; with light housekeeping, laundry and meal prep.
