About Mary

I am a former teacher based out of Brooklyn whose child care approach involves play, exploration and creating great channels of communication between myself, children and their families. I prioritize socio-emotional skill building and giving children opportunities to process their emotions and observations about the world around them. I have two years of full-time classroom teaching experience with Pre-K and 2nd graders, 14 months of private remote tutoring experience and multiple years of nannying in high school and college. Past students, parents and clients would describe me as warm, creative, empathetic, hardworking and energetic.
