I am energetic, love babies and children, playful, reliable and responsible. I bring toys along with me to engage the child and make a night of childcare something your kids will look forward to.

My daycare focused on providing multiple avenues of learning for the developing mind: using puzzles, building blocks, books, and art. I love taking kids outside to play ball or just to explore the change in the seasons.

I am available for occasional babysitting or childcare days and evenings. References available.

Our experience having Martine care for our 3 month old baby was very positive. She was so easy to work with, and provided our baby with amazing care. We had a good balance where she could operate and manage his day independently as it was clear she had so much experience with this age, and was able to adjust based on his needs. But we also worked together as she would consult me if needed, as well. She made my going back to work transition seamless and quickly felt like a part of our family. 

Martine is amazing!  She watched over our 6 month old while we were in town for a family event two nights in a row.  Our infant loved her from the moment she stepped into the room.  She was caring, sweet, thoughtful and communicative.  And extra early both days!  I wish she was in our hometown so we could book her all the time.

Martine was one of the first caregivers I hired last summer/fall for my then 6-month-old.  She took care of him 20-25 hours a week for about two months on Martha's Vineyard, and I feel so lucky that we found her!  She is so experienced with babies and children and knew just what he would like - playing, singing, taking him on walks, etc., plus bringing her own great toy collection for him to use. I was nervous about having others take care of him for the first time, but I immediately felt comfortable leaving him with Martine - he was clearly so happy with her.  More than that, I felt like she genuinely cared for and took a real interest in him and in our family that was so appreciated.  Her experience with babies was very helpful to me as a new mother, but she also never imposed her ideas - just offered suggestions to consider.  We were very sad when she left for Florida for the winter, but we still keep in touch and hope she'll be able to care for him again in the future!

We were in Martha's Vineyard for a week to attend a destination wedding. We tried booking for care from a babysitting agency but they said they are all booked. We found Martine in this site last minute. She replied quick and we were able to come to an arrangement. On a Friday we hired her for 3 hrs, she arrived early and brought toys for our 8th month old son, our son was happy. The next day, we hired her for 8 hrs and extended another hour without problems. Our son always fights his sleep and would scream but Martine was used to a lot of babies/kids since she had a daycare. I would definitely hire her again, I asked her and she says she spends 6 months in South Florida (which is luckily close to where we usually go to) and the other half of the year in Martha's Vineyard.

Martine watched my two boys (4 months and 3 yr old) while we were vacationing in Ft Lauderdale. She was amazing. She has a lot of experience and my boys were immediately comfortable with her. She was always early and took great care of them. I wish only that she could move back home with us. We will miss her!!

Martine watched our twins for an evening on short notice. She arrived early well prepared for a couple of toddlers. She immediately put our girls at ease. While we were gone, she took care of wrapping up dinner, helping them get past our departure and through their usual bedtime shenanigans. Very experienced and caring, friendly and accommodating. We would absolutely have Martine watch our kids and I think the kids would we happy to have that, too.

I hired Martine on short notice. She was great. Showed up a little earlier. My 23 month year old son was comfortable with her right away and they played together while I finished getting ready. When I got back from my engagement my child was all smiles. I would recommend her.

My husband and I had the pleasure of hiring Martine to watch our 21month old son on four separate evenings while we were in Edgartown for a wedding. She consistently showed up early and was very flexible with scheduling/changes to the schedule. We would absolutely hire Martine again! She is truly a phenomenal sitter who genuinely cares.

Martine is absolutely great! She was wonderful with our 18 month old daughter, bringing lots of fun games and activities, and getting outside with her. We felt immediately comfortable with Martine and would definitely hire her again!  Thanks Martine!

Martine is kind, loving, full of energy, and  really has a gift with children. My kids have very different personalities and she was able to anticipate their needs, making me feel comfortable and relaxed while on vacation.  Such a kind and sweet woman, Martine was able to help out and babysit my 17 month old on such short notice (less than 24 hours) while my husband and I went out for date night in Miami Beach. She arrived on right on time and immediately started playing with and watching my daughter while I finished getting ready to go out. She was patient and caring with her when she woke up in the middle of the night and was overall a great baby sitter. Thanks again Martine!

Martine was an excellent caretaker for my 8 month old son two nights in a row while we were on Martha's Vineyard for a wedding.  She arrived ahead of time, brought fun activities of her own for my son, and my son immediately enjoyed being with her. He was fast asleep both nights when I returned home, with no problems at all.  I would highly recommend Martine!

Martine was a life saver when I traveled to Martha's Vineyard with my newborn for my sister's wedding! She took excellent care of him, knew all the tricks, and allowed us to feel at ease that he was in great hands! Will definitely be hiring her next summer if she's not already booked up!

We could not have asked for a better or more qualified sitter for our two year old and his infant cousin while we attended a wedding. Martine went above and beyond, coming early in the week to meet our son, she brought her resume as well as toys AND stayed to play with him for a bit so he got comfortable with her. On the day of the wedding, I was nervous as my son was napping when we left, but she kept in touch over the course of the evening and put us at ease. Both kiddos were sound asleep when we got home, but she left helpful notes about their afternoon together.  The next morning my son greeted me with a smile and then immediately asked about Martine! I would highly recommend Martine- she is a pro!

We hired Martine for a few nights and during the day while we were vacationing on the Vineyard. She met the kids ahead of time making sure that they would know her and be comfortable when she arrived later in the evening. She brought toys with her which is a bonus when you are away from home. She communicated quickly via text and took the kids to do fun activities. She even came early one day as she noticed there was traffic and knew we had to be somewhere at a certain time. Martine is warm and friendly and the kids loved her. I highly recommend her as a sitter. 

Both our sons went to Martine's excellent daycare and were privileged to have her babysit for them as well. Martine is responsible, knowledgeable, playful, particularly skilled with babies and toddlers, and provides firm, loving care for a wide variety of children. It would be hard to find a more experienced, devoted caregiver, we highly recommend her!

I could not be happier with Martine. She arrived at my home with a bag of age appropriate toys for my then 15month old and her resume (which is quite impressive). She has a wonderful way with my daughter, I can not recommend her more highly.
