About Martha

I am a College graduate. I have an AAS in Child Development. I am CPR and First Aid certified and drive an all wheel drive vehicle. I have my own car and booster seats. I can cook a variety of foods, and know kid friendly places to eat. I love taking kids to parks, the plaza and to climb trees. I keep firm boundaries and conform to family schedules and cultural preferences. I believe parents are the primary teachers in a child's life. I believe caregivers should reflect what the parents value and honor, as well as being nurturing and supportive in development and education. Safety is a priority. A least restrictive environment within that realm is what I strive for in care. I can provide a list of activities and adventures for the age group you need care for, and a tentative outline of our agenda for the care period needed. I can also chart details of what we did for the day, morning or afternoon, along with photos of activities in action. It's all about what you need and want.
