Marsha is wonderful! She’s an expert with dementia patients especially after working as a live-in, 24-hour caregiver for my 85-year old mother for seven months. Mom has had strokes and is in the advanced stages of Alzheimers. She can be so feisty and stubborn but Marsha used her bubbly personality and a lot of redirection to make her life better. She could cheer her up with music and even dance, not to mention her delicious cooking that she tailored to Mom’s tastes and dietary needs. Incontinence and bathing had been major problems but Marsha skillfully and cheerfully resolved these issues and trained the other caregivers to do so as well. On top of that, she was almost always available for long (3+ day) shifts when other caregivers called in sick or took time off. A true professional, she deserves 5 out of 5 stars for reliability, one of the only caregivers who arrived early for every shift. Mom would not have been able to live in her own home for as long as she did if it hadn’t been for Marsha.
