Most importantly.  I am a mobile nanny. Currently looking in LA/Orange counties for my family fit. nanny/preschool teacher that loves getting on the children's level, by playing sports and doing crafts. I also can teach your child the preschool curriculum. I am very active with the children in my care. I have cared for children from newborn to 13-year-olds. My specialty is infants to 4-year-olds, but I can meet the needs of any child in my care from feedings to driving them to their activities. Other tasks that I have helped families with include light housekeeping (it will pertain more to the child's needs), child friendly cooking, homework, play dates, taking to park, bathing and taking advantage of every teaching moment possible. I have also done overnight care so I can basically run a household.

I recently met Marnie and she took care of my 4 month old boy for a short trial period. She was great to work with. My baby was happy in her care (played, ate, pooped and napped). She was also communicative, authentic, professional, and reliable. I had no doubt that she would have made a great nanny for our baby when I returned to work. Unfortunately, due to the timing not working out, I did not hire her. But I would absolutely recommend her and will be considering her for future positions.

We didn't end up hiring Marnie due to budget constraints and the days we needed care not quite lining up, although she was wonderful to chat with, very professional, and trustworthy. I spoke with two of her references who spoke very highly of her and I have no doubt she'd be a great nanny for any family considering her. 

My family did a trial day with Marnie. She was responsive to messages, proactive with communication, and arrived on time. My son had an absolute blast with her and was sad when it was time for her to go. She also stayed active during his naps cleaning up from meals. Due to scheduling conflicts we decide to hire someone else, but I would definitely recommend Marnie. 

We're extremely thankful for Marnie. She consistently communicates effectively, is punctual, and excels as a caregiver for our little one. Marnie consistently introduces fresh activities and toys, maintaining a smooth daily routine. We wholeheartedly recommend her services. 

She worked 2-3 days / week for us for about 9 months.  Highly reliable, but too squeamish and high anxiety for childcare.  (Freaked out over my daughter's potty accidents, for example).  Quit rudely over text and that was it

Marnie is excellent. She is a great communicator, always on-time or early, responsive, reliable, and very professional. She even brought rainy day activities for my son. My son is 2yo and very shy and took to her right away and was laughing with her and calling her by her name on the first day. She has professional preschool experience. I cannot thank her enough for the times she came in at the last minute when my nanny had a family emergency. Highly recommend her and will hire her again!

Marnie is very educated and is excellent with getting your little one on a good schedule.  I felt very comfortable with Marnie watching my 1 year old son and she even taught him sign language. She was never late and had excellent communication throughout.  Marnie was very helpful in educating me on many things as I am a new mom and I am very grateful for all her help.

Marnie is GREAT!! I was extremely anxious about leaving my 10 month old with someone new, but Marnie was awesome and I would hire her again in a heartbeat. She was patient and playful with my child and carried out all the duties I had requested of her. Marnie was super speedy in her text responses prior to hiring and throughout the entire evening I was away. Thank you Marnie!!

I hired Marnie to care for my 7 month old daughter, and occasionally her rambunctious 3 year old sister. I very much appreciated that Marnie took detailed notes for me with such a little one. She built a rapport with her right away, and they both were just as excited to be with her as they were with me. Marnie was good at keeping them busy as well. My 7 month old was a little behind, and it was great for her to get the one on one time to help get her sitting up on her own. Marnie would also bring activities for the 3 year old whenever she knew she would be home, and took them on walks all the time.  I was at peace with them staying with her almost from day one. We've moved our girls to preschool/in home daycare now, because our finances have changed, but we'd still be having her come if not. We'll hope to have her come for fill in and date nights in the future. Highly recommend her!

Look no further & hire Marnie to be your babysitter! I feel so blessed that Marnie was available to take care of my 10 mo. baby for the past 2 months. My baby goes to daycare, but needed to have an unexpected nerve surgery & time to recover. On top of everything, my baby has severe allergies. I was VERY nervous about leaving my baby with a stranger. After multiple unsuccessful interviews (no shows & unprofessionalism) of other Care.com nannies, I found Marnie... MY LIFESAVER! I honestly don't know what I would've done without her. Marnie made sure my daughter's cast was stable, made sure she didn't have any infections, & checked if she was having an allergic reaction. Marnie is professional, reliable, & very flexible. This is a bittersweet moment for us - we wish we could have Marnie fulltime, but now my baby is strong enough & has recovered from her surgery. My baby is ready to go back to daycare & it's because Marnie helped our baby recover.

Marnie has provided back-up care for my infant and now toddler several times now. She's always followed instructions and my toddler enjoys playing with her!

She is so great with our 11 months old. Caring and dependable! 

Marnie was very professional and punctual. She was very sweet with our son and responsive when we called in the evening to check in. I would absolutely recommend Marnie and will use her services in the future.

Marnie helped out last minute with our 11 month old, and she was fantastic! She was very communicative, personable, punctual and great with our son. She took him on walks, played with him and kept track of all of his feedings and naps. We would definitely hire her again!

Marnie was an EXCEPTIONAL nanny for our son.Extremely professional, dependable, punctual, everything you'd hope a nanny to be. Our son really blossomed verbally, and behaviorally during his time with Marnie. She worked with him on sign language which has proven very useful in helping him to communicate his needs while he works out this learning to talk thing. I know our son misses Marnie and we do too! 

Marnie helped us out last minute with our 6 month old and cared for him very well. 

She cared for our children (4 yrs old and 11 months) for a week while our nanny was out on vacation.  Both of my girls enjoyed spending time with her.  She took them on walks, to the park, and out to get pizza.
