About Marney

I've cared for children since age 12, with extensive experience supporting infants, toddlers, and older kids. My background spans nannying, education, and child development, including work at Marin Horizon School and teaching in Italy as a Fulbright scholar. I hold degrees from Middlebury and Freie Universität Berlin and speak English, Italian, Spanish, and German. I bring warmth, creativity, playfulness, and genuine care to every family I work with. I'm a Bay Area native currently living a nomadic lifestyle, and I'd love to build relationships with families seeking a trusted caregiver for occasional childcare, overnights, weekends, travel, or extended stays. I'm also open to live-in arrangements. In fall 2027, I'll begin a three-year graduate program in Marriage and Family Therapy , when I'll be seeking a more regular, long-term nanny position alongside my studies. I'd love to become a familiar, dependable presence in your family's life!
