About Marney

I've been caring for children since I was 12 years old, and over the past decade-plus, childcare has remained one of the most natural and meaningful parts of my life. I have experience with infants, toddlers, school-aged kids, and pre-teens, and I love meeting children exactly where they are - whether that means imaginative play, big feelings, homework help, outdoor adventures, art projects, or simply being a steady, loving presence. My background in education, child development, and storytelling deeply informs the way I care for kids. I've worked with children in family homes, school settings, and community spaces, including Marin Horizon School and Horizon Community Center, and I also taught high school students in Southern Italy on a Fulbright award. I speak English, Italian, Spanish, and German, and I love bringing creativity, curiosity, and a sense of wonder into the day.
