About Marlin

I provide dependable, non-medical companion and household support for older adults who value routine, dignity, and staying independent. My day-to-day with clients includes preparing meals, light housekeeping, laundry, and errands, along with transportation to appointments, errands, or social visits when needed. Just as much of my time goes into real companionship: reading aloud, listening to audiobooks and music together, watching movies, and having genuine conversation. I also help with medication organization (tracking vitamins/supplies and flagging when refills are needed), keep families updated on how things are going, and support bigger organizational projects like closet and photo organization or helping a client sort through what to keep, donate, or sell. I've also helped a client stay engaged with a personal hobby (painting), which I think matters as much as the practical tasks. I approach this work with patience, consistency, and respect for each person's independence.
