Marlene has an amazing energy and really connects with people. My mother was very ill when she came to work with us and she had to handle multiple medications and help my mom with physical exercises to increase her strength and feed her through a gastrointestinal bolus-style feeding tube, since my mom was confined to a wheelchair at that point and having trouble eating. She also helped us get to the doctors' appointments which was really hard in the early days when we had to lift her in and out of the wheelchair. By the time Marlene was through working with her, my mom was fully recovered, eating well, and up and about. Marlene is a super healthy person who encourages her patients to eat healthy, enjoy the outdoors, and move around. Her positivity made a big difference in my mom's recovery.
