I literally don’t know where to begin to express how wonderful Marlene is and the gratitude I have towards her for caring for my mom. My mom is 98. She has been my best friend for my entire life. When I interviewed Marlene, I hired her immediately. Two hours into her first shift I remember looking at her and telling her this may seem premature, but I absolutely love you. My mom adores her. She cares for her as I do with love, affection, and laughter. Not only is she caring for her, but she’s adding to the quality of her life. She’s cut from a different cloth. I didn’t know a stranger could become family and a friend so quickly. As things become more challenging with her care it’s Marlene who’s teaching me how to care for her. To say that I trust someone with the most precious person in my life is setting a very high bar. She not only meets it, but exceeds it.
