About Marlena

Hi, my name is Marlena! I'm currently a college student studying developmental psychology. I have been working with children for 2 years now and am most comfortable with ages 2-12. I'd describe my personality as flexible, creative, and patient I like working with kids because I enjoy the energy and creativity that they have. Something I appreciate is that when you're working with kids each day looks different. I started working with kids when I was 15 and used to look after family members such as younger siblings, nieces, and nephews. However, outside of family I have 2 years of professional experience working with kids, such as after school programs and children's behavioral and mental health services. In my spare time, I like to spend time outside such as hiking and camping. My skills include certification in pediatric first aid and CPR, communication, and planning/organization
