About Marlea

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the core of my professional practice. With more than 21 years of experience and a graduate degree, I specialize in K-5 math, reading, Special Education, and essential study skills; along with 12 years of experience in Wilson Reading. My approach focuses on building confidence through personalized support, breaking complex problems into manageable steps, and celebrating every "Aha!" moment! By actively listening and adapting my methods, whether through visual aids or hands-on activities, I create a patient, engaging environment where students thrive. I value open communication with families to ensure consistent progress. Helping your child discover a genuine love for learning is the most rewarding part of my day! I also have over 21 years of experience in guiding parents and families through the evaluation process and IEPs.
