About Marjorie

I am a young professional working in this field for over a decade, originally I was pursuing occupational therapy, in which I have a background with, but due to recent global issues I have directed my attention to environmental needs, especially in relation with children. I have worked at different camps, after-school programs and with individual families, with children of all ages, and of varying capabilities, with many years experience working specifically with children with disabilities. I am currently on track to pursuing a degree in sustainable development and hope to incorporate that with child development and school curriculums. One of my professional goals is to own a recreational facility for children, specifically catering to those with developmental disabilities. I believe that creativity, positive influence and connection to nature can drive an individual in the right direction, and starting early in life is not only important, it is vital.
