Last year, in April, I started working for a family as a House Manager/Nanny. I worked for them for about 4 months. I only worked for her for a short time because at the end of July last year I broke my ankle and I was out of work for 4 months. In the time that I worked for them I was in charge of making sure that the house ran smoothly on a daily basis. I scheduled maintenance appointments that were needed and/or regular basis. I took care of grocery shopping and handling the 2 children after school. I was in charge of school pick-ups as well as tutor appointments. In December, after my ankle was healed, I started with a family as a Personal Assistant/House Manager. I currently work there now but will be leaving in a few weeks because they need a live-in person. I am not available for that. So while I was there I was in charge of grocery shopping, scheduling any and all appointments needed for anyone in the household, taking their elderly grandfather to some appointments, organization and cleanliness of all rooms, scheduling vendors for parties, laundry, and basically the daily running of the household. I enjoyed my time there and only wish I could stay.
