About Marissa

Hi! I'm Marissa, a caring and dependable childcare provider with a background in behavioral health and a passion for supporting children as they learn, grow, and develop. My approach is warm, patient, and intentional. I enjoy creating a safe, engaging environment where children can be themselves while still having structure, consistency, and age-appropriate expectations. I love incorporating play, reading, creative activities, outdoor time, and everyday learning into our time together. My experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) has given me an understanding of positive reinforcement, routines, communication, and emotional regulation. I'm also comfortable supporting children with autism, developmental differences, communication challenges, or behavioral needs. I believe every child deserves to feel safe, understood, encouraged, and celebrated. I value open communication with parents and respect each family's routines, preferences, and individual needs.
