About Marissa

Hi! My name is Marissa S. and I am excited to be considered to help you and your family. A bit about me: I am 19 years old, living in Santa Barbara, and currently a freshman at Santa Barbara City College double majoring in Theatre Arts and Early Childhood Education. I work at the Santa Barbara Zoo as a show cast member teaching kids about animals, nature, and performing in their puppet and dino shows (I am excited to share my creativity and knowledge with your kids)! I have about 5 years of experience in childcare through babysitting and working as a youth dance teacher and theatre camp counselor for ages 3-14. I am deeply passionate about education and childhood development and aspire to become a teacher. I am patient, creative, friendly, and kind and I am comfortable enforcing household rules.
