About Marissa

Hello! My name is Marissa, and I am a sophomore psychology major at UMass Amherst seeking a full-time nanny position for the summer. I have extensive childcare experience, including six years of babysitting children of all ages and five years as a counselor at the Mansfield YMCA, where I worked with children ages 3-14. In this role, I supervised up to 10 children at a time, gaining experience with a wide range of personalities and needs. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have a perfect driving record. I find working with children extremely rewarding and enjoy supporting their emotional, social, and developmental growth. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and fun space while building trusting relationships with both children and families. In my free time, I love singing, theater, crafts, and playing intramural sports! I am warm, responsible, and dedicated to balancing fun with safety.
