About Kristen

Hello! My name is Kristen, & I am a 2nd year Communication Disorders major at Bridgewater State University working toward becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist. I am bubbly, empathetic, & kind, with a strong passion for working with children. I love kids for their creativity, energy, & imagination, and I enjoy having fun while also making a positive impact in their lives! I began working with children in 7th grade as a camp counselor at my church's summer camp, where I discovered how rewarding it is to support kids. Since then, I have worked as a part-time assistant Reading teacher for 6th graders & volunteered with Best Buddies, Unified Sports, & Special Olympics events. In my free time, I love playing piano, pickleball, guitar, getting coffee, going to the beach, & spending time with friends & family. I am patient, reliable, & a strong communicator, & I am seeking a rewarding role where I can help children grow, have fun, be creative, & thrive! I'd love to help out. Thank you :)
