About Marissa

Hi, my name is Marissa. I am a third-year math teacher who relocated from Eastern PA to Morgantown WV about 2 years ago. As a teacher, I love working with all ages of students, where I create fun activities for the little ones. I was a summer counselor and instructor at a local community college (Northampton Community College) a few summers ago. I have experience working with younger kids as well as older kids. My most common times to babysit is during my off-season in the summer. I am also an experienced tutor, so if you are looking for someone to prevent that summer learning loss or need some assistance throughout the school years, I am more than willing to assist. Please feel free reach out at any time. Some personal things about me is that I love to read, craft, and cook. When it comes to working with kids whether its in my classroom, a tutoring session, or a babysitting gig I try to make it as personalized as possible. No day is the same and im always able to adapt based on needs.
