About Nancy

I am a certified middle school math teacher with additional certification in elementary education, currently teaching 8th grade. I offer private tutoring, date-night babysitting, and summer childcare for local families. I have many years of experience working with children of all ages, including babysitting for multiple families, full-time summer care, camp counseling for children ages 6-14, and childcare for infants through age 12 at a Child Learning Center. I also gained hands-on experience in preschool and elementary classrooms through my education. I strive to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable and confident. I enjoy engaging kids through games, crafts, outdoor play, and learning activities, while maintaining structure and responsibility. I'm also happy to help with pets, including feeding, walks, and basic care.
