About Marissa

Hi, my name is Marissa. I have 10+ years of childcare experience in just about every aspect of the field. From 6 years as a lead teacher in a daycare, 3 years working as a senior MHW in a psychiatric hospital.. primarily on the adolescent unit, 3 years as a personal nanny. I have been with my current family for the last 2 years and I get the pleasure of caring for a lovely, fun and energetic toddler. I am CPR, First Aide, MAT certified and TCI trained (therapeutic crisis intervention) I am in the process of obtaining my degree in the human services field. I am a lover of books and animals, as well as adventuring outside. Weather it's a walk up the block, bike riding, hiking, or just simply hanging in the back yard. I believe fresh air and adventures are good for the soul. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, fun-loving, adventurous atmosphere for the wonderful little humans that I am lucky enough to care for.
