About Marissa

Hello! I am 25 years old and I am relocating to Washington, DC at the end of April to attend graduate school at George Washington University. I am looking for a full time nanny position, that I can start in May. I have 10 years of childcare experience from being a babysitter/ Summer nanny and my professional experience as a paraprofessional counselor for kids ages 5-14. As a childcare provider, I implement social and emotional learning skills that I have gained from my professional work experience. This means I work with kids on social skills and how to navigate their big feelings. I will not have a car in DC, but am comfort using the metro and I do have a drivers license. I will have one class that starts at 3:30 once a week, but other than that I have complete availability for the daytime. In the past, I have taken kids to fun activities such a the zoo, aquarium, parks and their extra curricular activities. Your kids will not be bored. I look forward to meeting you!
