I've worked in preschool classrooms and as a private nanny, which has shaped my gentle, patient approach. I love getting to know each child's personality and watching them grow. My husband and I are relocating to Mesquite, Texas in May, and I'll be available in June. I'm looking for a long-term, part-time position and will be bringing my daughter, who will be around 11 months to a year old. It's been a blessing to have Marisol with us over the course of almost 2 years; one year as a full-time nanny and almost six months as a part-time nanny. Joining our family when our son was only 12 weeks-old, she provided a calm and reassuring presence any new parent would be lucky to have! Through infancy to now toddlerhood, Marisol gracefully supported so many developmental milestones, which is where her coursework and years of experience have been most evident. Additionally, she truly became an extension of us, quickly and instinctively picking up and adapting to our parenting nuances. When Marisol returned after her mat-leave, she didn't miss a beat, making balancing an almost 1.5 year-old and her then 10 week-old look effortless. We weren't sure what to expect with this new arrangement, but we're so glad we tried it! If you're looking for a true gem, Marisol is patient, down to earth, funny, caring and overall good-natured!
