Hello! My name is Rebekah and working with kids brings me so much joy! To share a little bit about myself, my journey with childcare began in 2002 when my first little sister was born;) Nothing prepares you for childcare quite like younger siblings! Fast forward to 2019 and over the space of three years I became a nanny for seven families that I met on Care. com. I cared for children ranging from 7 months old to 10 years old. My responsibilities included pick-ups and drop offs, tending to nap times and mealtimes, assisting with virtual schooling, lots of diaper changes, and best of all, lots of playtime! Since then, I've taken all of the knowledge and experiences that I've gained from nannying and applied it as a preschool teacher at KinderCare Learning Centers. Miss Bekah was with our family for more than a year and a half from the very beginning of 2021 until mid-June 2022. During that time, she cared for our two daughters (2 and 4 at the end of our time together) while I worked at home. I felt very comfortable with her in our home while I was not there, whether for meetings or date nights. She grew to know our routines and our home, and didn't need intervention or involvement from me. Bekah dealt with diaper changes, sick kids, and sibling quarrels skillfully and with great empathy. Bekah was always willing to take our girls outside and play creatively, do endless crafts with them, make up games with them they looked forward to playing with only her and cater to their interests and needs. Bekah was consistently willing to lend a hand, and shared a similar worldview/faith journey which was so impactful in her work in our home and her interactions with our girls. We would absolutely rehire her and recommend her to anyone.
