I grew up on the twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago, where I first started caring for my younger siblings. I migrated to the U. S at the age of 17 and have lived in NYC ever since. I became a newborn care specialist in 2007 where I cared primarily for newborn, premature babies and twins for over 7 years. I then transitioned to the nanny industry in 2010. I have extensive experience with newborns, infants and toddlers. I do sleep training, get babies on a healthy eating schedule, and do potty training. I am currently seeking employment as a full-time nanny. I am fully vaccinated, and I drive. While I've tried the office environment, it's definitely not my passion. I enjoy and truly love caring for and forming bonds with the children and families I work with.

Marisa was hired by my husband and I in 2018 and worked with us until our daughter turned 3 in 2021. She was truly a blessing! As a first time mother, I knew absolutely nothing about how to care for a baby. Even worst, I had really bad postpartum. Marisa was patient, empathetic, knowledgeable and nurturing. She gave breastfeeding tips, assisted me with chores, but most importantly she was an amazing care giver to my baby. Our daughter grew to love her immensely. Marisa helped her excel at all milestones. She taught her letters, numbers, shapes, colors very early on. She combed her hair, groomed her nails and always kept her well dressed. Our daughter was the little diva of the town. Marisa is very organized and keeps a clean work space. She read books daily and kept B engaged all day. We were lucky to have her be a part of the family and highly recommend her services.
