About Marisa

I was born and raised on the twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago, where my passion for caregiving first took root as I helped care for my younger siblings. At 17, I moved to the United States, resided in NYC for 23 years and just relocated to Gwynn Oak, Maryland. In 2007, I began my career as a Newborn Care Specialist, focusing primarily on the care of newborns, premature babies, and twins. After over seven fulfilling years in that role, I transitioned into the nanny profession in 2010. I am currently seeking employment exclusively as a night nanny. I bring a strong foundation in sleep training and am well-versed in circumcision care for newborns. I am fully vaccinated, have a valid driver's license, and am committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment for every child in my care. Above all, I genuinely love what I do. It brings me great joy to form meaningful connections with the families I support and to play a thoughtful role in the early development of their little ones.
