About Darcy
Experience: 10 yrs
I have 10 years of experience working with a number of ages, including newborns, twins, and 4 kids at a time. I mainly worked for friends and family until I was hired to take care of 4 children part time, ages 6m, 2, 4 and 6 years old at start date. This started a snowball effect and my passion for nannying took off! I moved from Maine to New Jersey and that's when I found myself hired to care full time for a family's first child at 2 weeks of age. Since then, I have practiced becoming an integral part of each family I work with and always strive to go above and beyond the call of duty. I take a holistic, Montessori approach, I use the Ferber method for sleep training, and the 3 day method for potty training. I am well versed in baby wearing/cloth diapering and have a relentless passion for what I do. I am also CPR/First Aid and a trained Newborn Care Specialist. Good luck with your search!
