About Marisa

Hi! I am a recent graduate of Cornell University pursing my PsyD in School-Clinical Child Psychology. I am comfortable tutoring in math, reading, writing, and science at a range of age levels. I can also help with college applications. I am a school psychologist intern at a public elementary school, so I am familiar with the school environment & curriculum. I have experience working with students with special education needs. As a school psychologist intern, I work with many students who are in Special Education, and I help ensure they receive the services they need to succeed in school. I worked with a high school student to pass his Earth Science Regents after failing the first 2 exams; his parents said I was the first tutor who really helped him. I worked with a elementary school student with Epilepsy with reading each week. I also have experience with several Advanced Placement (AP) and Regents exams and can help your student make a schedule to stay on top of homework each week.
