About Anna

Hi! I'm a University of Michigan graduate and a current high school chemistry teacher, also pursuing my master's degree in education. Tutoring is where I combine my subject expertise with a genuine love for helping students succeed. I have years of experience tutoring and teaching kids across a range of subjects and grade levels, with particular strength in chemistry, science, and math. As a classroom teacher, I know how to break down tough concepts, meet students where they are, and build both their skills and their confidence. My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student--whether they need help catching up, staying on track, or preparing for exams like the Regents. I focus on real understanding, not just memorization, so students walk away genuinely knowing the material.
