About Marilia

Hi there! I am Marília, 34 yo. Brazilian born/American naturalized. Portuguese/English speaker. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Chemistry; 2 years tutoring kids and teaching basic English as well in Brazil. I am looking for babysitting opportunities out of my weekly job schedule. Over 8 years as a nanny in the US I have found most joy working with infants. I have been working full time with a baby boy for 6 months, since he was 5 mo and ai have an incredible connection with the baby and the parents. On a recent job (which I stayed for 2. 5 years) I cared for a baby (5 mo until 2 yo) then her brother (2 mo to 1 yo). I have a wonderful relationship with the family who I love and catch up with sometimes. I also have a published children's book called "My little heart" that seems to talk to babies in a very unique way. It's mesmerizing to me their reaction to it. Reliable, sociable, passionate, sensible, loving, I believe on the power of love and respect.
