Since early January 2021 to late February 2025 (deceased February 25 2025), I have housed and cared for a WWII veteran. I have assisted in all aspects of personal care and hygiene (including limited catheter care), have experience with light cleaning and meal preparation, assisted in transportation and attending doctor's appointments, caring for his cat, Tippy Toes while he was away on a cruise to Alaska with friends of ours, and I am familiar with dementia care and senior enrichment activities. I am willing and able to transport clients in my own vehicle on errands, doctor's appointments, enrichment activities, etc. I am very comfortable with animals and pets in the home if clients have any, as I see this as a big benefit--owning and caring for pets helps clients' wellbeing and promotes good health!
