About Mariellen

Hi! I am a patient, fun, and caring person with passionate energy for kids. I have been babysitting since age 13. In high school, I was a mother's helper to a family of 7 kids (ages 2-12) where I helped with groceries, play time, and homework. During college, I volunteered at a day care for infants aged 6 weeks-18 months. I have 4 summers of experience as a sleep away camp counselor to girls ages 8-15, and was with them around the clock 24 hours a day for 7 days. I have moved around in the past few years, but always had a nannying job during that time of up to four kids. Most recently, I have worked at a daycare center in Lincoln Park for 11 months, working with both infants and toddlers. I have helped to assist with milestones, play, lesson plans, feeding, changing, and entertaining. I am looking to team up with a family to help out in whatever ways I am needed to assist a child, and I am looking forward to this next chapter!
