About Ruth

Hello, I am Rue! Knowing that I can support families while helping children grow in unique and fun ways is what I love most about childcare. For the past five years, I have cared for children aged newborn to 11 years old either as an educator or a babysitter. For the past 3 years, I've been a Lead Preschool Teacher at a nature and art based school. I have experience with Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Early Child Development Coursework, and I hold certifications in First Aid and CPR Training. I do also have Childhood Development Associates. I am patient, calm, creative, and imaginative. I enjoy dancing and using music to connect with children. I communicate with parents through written daily reports, verbal communication at pickup, and regular updates via text or phone call. I enjoy partnering with parents to create positive associations through consistent routines. I can also help with light housekeeping. I hope to bring my passion for childcare to your family!
