About Mariela

Hi! My name is Mariela, and I truly love working with children and helping them grow in confidence while reaching their goals. I have 9 years of experience working with and tutoring elementary-aged children. I've worked with children with different learning styles and needs, including children with special needs. I understand that every child learns differently, and I believe patience, encouragement, and finding the right approach can make a big difference. I've also been part of a wonderful ministry that provided therapy and support for children with special needs, giving me meaningful experience creating a safe and encouraging environment. To me, tutoring is about more than homework and grades. I love seeing that moment when something finally clicks, watching a child become more confident, and celebrating their progress.
