About Marie

Over the past four years Marie has fed, dressed, taught, played with, and coaxed our children out of countless tantrums. She is bright, creative, strong, and patient, and my whole family - dogs included - loves her. Marie has cared for my daughter since she was a year old and was with us the day we brought my son home from the hospital; in those first few sleepless months she looked after all of us and was a source of tremendous calm and support. She loves my kids (now 3 and 5 years old) as if they were her own, but totally respects whatever rules (or quirks) we as parents have. She is professional but also genuinely fun to be around. In short, I can't say enough wonderful things about Marie. If our work situation hadn't changed, I'm sure she would take on this new phase of shuttling our kids to and from school as gracefully as she has every other phase. And as much as we hate to say goodbye, at least we know that our loss will be another lucky family's gain.
