About Maria

As an ex preschool teacher with 10 years of experience working with young children. I pride myself on being able to provide a safe and healthy environment where children feel seen, appreciated and loved. As I like to say if I'm not having fun the kids are not having fun. I have core ECE coursework, I am CPR Certified including other certifications. I have extensive knowledge in age appropriate curriculum that supports and strengthens early skills to create a strong framework for later years in life. I'd describe my personality as calm, joyful, and positive. In my spare time, I like to hike and take long walks in nature. I'm also a big foodie, so trying new restaurants is always fun! My skills include patience, effective communication and co-regulation.
