Hi, My name is Maria. I speak English but my primary language is Spanish. My long term care giver experience was for my son who needed care for over 5 years. I supported with personal hygiene, food prep, help eating, cleaning and medical appointments. He has recovered and I am now looking to support another person in need. I'd describe my personality as positive, a woman of faith and motivating. I like caring for seniors because during my employment at a senior facility I witnessed how engagement and companionship can improve mental health and everyday outlook on life. I'm looking for a job that that allows me to be of support in areas I am I good at. I started caring for seniors when I started caring for my neighbor in my own spare time. In my spare time, I like to care for my plants and visit family. One thing you should know about me is I am reliable, trustworthy and hardworking. My skills include cooking delish food, cleaning, companionship, bathing and dressing.
