About Maria

I am a second year nursing student and Army ROTC cadet with intents of going into pediatric nursing. I have experience caring for children in my nursing school studies, raising and watching my younger siblings, as well as nannying for families over the past few summers. I am also a lifeguard and teach swim lessons! I completed red cross babysitting training at the age of 12 and have babysat for different families consistently and as needed since then. I love child care and find it most important to create a compassionate, caring environment for children, build trust, and guide in positive self care activities and habits as a strong role model.
