My name is Maria. I'm interested in finding out more information about this position. Caring for children has always been a big part of my life. I have three grown children of my own (now 25, 22 and 18) and also took care of my niece (now 23), who is still living with me now. I worked as a teacher's assistant for pre-k programs and also was a one-on-one aide for a first grade boy. After I stopped working for the school, I worked as a nanny for about six years for a family with two children in elementary school. I provided care for the kids every morning before school which consisted of waking them up, getting them dressed, making them breakfast and putting them on the bus.
