I found my passion for kids once I started working at the age of 16 at the after school program held at the elementary school I attended as a child. During this program it is our job to tend to the children, provide them with snack, help with homework and play organized games. Over the years I moved up in rate from a counselor, to an assistant supervisor to now the supervisor of the location I work at. I also ran a program last year called the ACCESS program for high school kids. It was a workshop on professionalism within the work place and after completing the workshop I worked on placing them in fields they were interested such as Long Island Jewish hospital.
