About Maria Laura

Hello! I am an Occupational Therapy Assistant with experience supporting children and teens with diverse neurodevelopmental and learning needs, including developmental delays, ADHD, autism, and other learning differences. I provide both virtual and in-person support tailored to each child's needs. My focus is on helping students build executive functioning skills, organization, independence, confidence, and effective learning habits. During summer months, I also support students in maintaining structure, routines, and meaningful learning through engaging activities that promote continued growth outside the classroom. As an artist, I enjoy incorporating creativity into learning when appropriate. I am patient, supportive, and committed to helping each child reach their potential in a positive and encouraging environment.
