About Katherine

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With years of experience in education, I specialize in helping learners master language skills and elementary math by breaking complex problems into manageable, achievable steps. I prioritize creating a patient, supportive environment where I can actively observe your student's unique learning style to tailor my approach, whether through visual aids or hands-on practice. By connecting challenging concepts to personal interests, I foster the critical thinking skills necessary for long-term success. I believe open communication with parents is essential to building a collaborative foundation for growth. most rewarding for me is witnessing the "moment a student gains the confidence to master a new skill. I look forward to partnering with you to help tap into the special qualities that motivate learning in your child.
