About Maria

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With 10 years of experience as a Certified teacher, I specialize in helping elementary and middle school students master Math, English, Science, History, and Study Skills. I hold a graduate degree and thrive when supporting students who require specialized attention. My approach centers on creating a patient, engaging environment where I adapt my methods by observing how you interact with new material. I believe in celebrating small successes and providing consistent positive reinforcement to keep you motivated. I prioritize open communication with parents through regular updates to ensure we are a unified team. Seeing your confidence grow as you master new skills is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to building a supportive rapport with you and making our sessions truly enjoyable.
