About Mariah

My name is Mariah Rose and I have been caring for children as a babysitter since I was 11 years old. I have worked for a variety of families in various ways including date night babysitter, full-time summer caregiver, and emergency sitter. I worked as a Youth Program Leader at the Ridley YMCA, teaching a variety of classes to children aged 1-9 including Dance, Cooking, Art, Science, and Sports. As a summer camp counselor, I organized afternoon art for our outside pavilion. For the past two years, I have been working as a toddler teacher at a child care center. During that time I earned my CDA (Child Development Associate Certificate) and have grown tremendously in developing and implementing appropriate, engaging curriculum. I take pride in my ability to not only care for children but to truly connect with them. I find ways to redirect their energy, channel their emotions into healthy outlets, and have a phenomenal time!
